A Review of the International Telecommunications Landscape

This review of the international telecommunication landscape provides information for the public, researchers and policymakers reference on various countries' telecommunications markets and policies. We are currently providing information on the telecommunications market, regulatory agency, regulation and national broadband strategies from technologically advanced countries--Canada, Japan, Netherlands, South Korea, Sweden, United Kingdom, and European Union. We anticipate expanding this review with information on more countries in the future. In addition to the overview of these countries, there is a cross-country comparison of broadband Internet services, speed, price and policy strategies. OTI and the Benton Foundation have also partnered to provide daily telecommunications news around the globe.
